• No Explicit Content: No pornographic, erotic, nude, suggestive, or overtly sexual content, including explicit Sims game images.
• No Violence or Cruelty: Do not post violent, cruel, or graphically disturbing content.
• Respect All Members: Harassment, witch-hunting, sexism, racism, and hate speech are prohibited.
• No Piracy: No serials, cracks, warez, or piracy-related content.
• No Spam: No excessive posting, flooding, or multi-channel spam.
• No Abuse of Mentions: Do not misuse roles or mass mentions.
• Language Policy: English only in public areas unless otherwise noted.
• Follow Channel Rules: Individual channels or spaces may have additional rules.
• 18+ Requirement: No minors are allowed on NewSO services.

Privacy, Safety, and Conduct

Protecting community members is a core part of moderation. The following behavior is not allowed:

Doxxing & Privacy

• No posting names, locations, usernames, or screenshots involving private messages.

Harassment & Cyberstalking

• No repeated negative commentary or targeting individuals.
• No tracking users or gathering Discord logs.

Unauthorized Data Collection

• No DiscordChatExporter, scraping logs, or bypassing private invites.

Defamation & Slander

• No false claims of illegal activity or speculation about mental health, relationships, or similar personal matters.

Invasion of Anonymity

• No linking usernames across platforms or exposing habits and patterns.

IP & Legal

• No sharing private game source code or stolen Nintendo or EA assets.

Moderation, Support, and Community Spaces

Moderation Policy

• Moderation does not cover personal conflicts unless someone bypasses ignores or bans, or disrupts gameplay.
• Job lot disruption is strictly moderated, including minimal work, trolling, or intentional interference.

Support Disclaimer

• No support is provided for third-party game clients or servers.
• Only NewSO is officially supported.

Voice Chat Conduct

• No echoing, abusive soundboards, or harassment in voice spaces.

Advertisement Policy

• No Discord server invites.
• NewSO lots, events, and services can be promoted once per day only.
• Three violations may result in a ban.

Game Rules, Economy, and Fair Use

Game Rules

• Any text you submit, including lot names and signs, may be stored or backed up.
• If the server shuts down, account data is deleted, but signs or lots may remain public.

Economy & Fair Play

• No multi-accounting, Sim sharing, or resource pooling across accounts.
• Temporary use of a second Sim on the same account for short transfers is allowed for about five minutes.
• No exploiting bugs; report them privately to moderators or developers.
• No real-money trading for items, accounts, or simoleons.
• Using names such as "DADDI" or "MOMI" in Sim names results in a permanent ban.

Fair Use Policy

• NewSO is a fan project and is not monetized in any way.
• No copyrighted content is redistributed.
• We do not store or retain personal data; it is only used for account setup.
